David is a licensed landscape design/build contractor with over 40 years of experience in all areas of residential landscape construction.
He started his long career as an assistant to master stone mason on the west shore of Lake Tahoe in 1970 learning about quality, attention to detail and the meaning of integrity from a master craftsman.
In 1978 he moved to Marin County and immediately was taken under the wing of gifted gardener/designer/horticulturalist/teacher Marty Stozel and set off to install his classic “California-Japanese” design that you still see today in the older “Eichler” areas of Lucas Valley.
In the 1980’s he installed many new landscapes during the development of Peacock Gap and in other areas of southern Marin touching on every aspect of residential landscape applications.In the 1990’s he began designing and installing new gardens for Sonoma county residents as well, these affordable, functional, beautiful gardens built through the decades still thrive today.Over the last decade he has worked together with pros like Ashley Fullerton on selected projects from referrals that have focused on client vision.
